Sun Salutation A is a practice where there are 10 poses gracefully linked together through breath and sequence. This sequence is perfect for beginners. This sequence is usually done in a lot of Vinyasa classes but sequences can vary slightly depending on the teacher.
Sun Salutation B is a practice which includes more strenuous postures to enhance core strength. It's a combination of breath & poses linked together. There can be a combination of 19-20 poses. The sequence can slightly differ depending on each teachers style.
This pose is also known as Low Plank.
Your body is supported by your toes and palms with your elbows glued to the side of your body.
Besides needing upper body strength, I'll provide you with some helpful tips along with a few modifications you can try if the full expression is out of your reach.
This is an energizing pose that teaches you how to stabilize your legs while you open the sides of your rib cage.
I will show you different variations often seen in yoga classes.
Tree Pose is a balancing pose that is often practiced in Vinyasa classes. This pose helps to improve balance & stability.
I will show you different tree pose variations along with some helpful tips.
There are quite a few different Warrior postures. I will show you five Warrior variations that are most often seen in yoga classes and how I sequence all five together. Warrior postures energizes, strengthens and stretches the entire body. Additionally, it encourages good circulation, respiration and improves focus, balance & stability.
Does Camel pose feel unaccessible? Here are some beginner friendly modifications that helped me. *Always warm up your back prior to any backbend.
Having the right props is essential especially if Frog Pose is difficult for you. I am showing different props that helped me enter Frog Pose & also demonstrating how to use these props.

Accessing splits are not easy. It takes a lot of stretching, consistency & patience to loosen up the hamstrings.
These are my go-to stretches that I did daily for many months to access my splits. Everyone's flexibility is different so have patience with yourself 😉

Does Triangle Pose confuse you?
Here is the way I enter it along with some helpful tips. I also included a fun Triangle Variation (Twisted Triangle). Triangle & Pyramid Pose are often confused. Pyramid Pose is a variation of Triangle known as Forward Facing Triangle.
Trouble touching your knees much less your toes?
It's all about stretching the hamstrings & having patience.
You can do the stretching exercises from my splits video to help open your hamstrings.
Here's a short video showing how I enter a standing forward fold.
The important thing to remember is after you bend onto your thighs; don't force the fold.
You can always fold deeper once you achieve the flexibility 😉
Grasshopper Pose is one of the more advanced poses that took me a long time to learn. You definitely have to open up your hips & hamstrings.
I'm showing you some of my go-to hip opening stretches along with a video showing how I enter a Forearm Grasshopper. The entry to a traditional Grasshopper Pose would be the same.
I hope my tips will help anyone trying to access this pose.
